Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is it too late to join?

The existing partners have already begun exchanging compound aliquots for producing Cell Painting data across different sites, so it is too late to take on additional data-producing partners. However, the consortium is open to new partners joining on a cash basis, which could fund additional analysis, infrastructure, and data production. Feel free to contact Anne Carpenter (see contact info below).

When will the data be publicly available?

Partners will have access to data from November 1, 2021. From November 1, 2022 the data (raw images and extracted features) will be publicly available.

Will software and code be made available?

Software and relevant scripts will be made publicly available: upon publication of results or public data release at the latest.
